Oct. 22 - Numerous agencies are at Fort Snelling State Park after a backhoe toppled, trapping a construction worker on Monday morning.
The incident happened about 10 a.m. as crews were worked in a marshy area near the ranger station at the entrance to the park.
According to radio traffic from the scene, the incident was considered a recovery operation.
Crews from the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) Fire Department, Hennepin EMS, Hennepin County Sheriff’s and the Minnesota State Patrol were at the scene.
An airboat from MAC fire was also at the scene.
