July 1 – Ramsey crews were called to the 4900 block of 143rd Ave around 10:15 p.m. today.
As chiefs and apparatus were enroute, a Ramsey Police Officer went on scene with smoke showing from the basement.
Ramsey Chief 3 arrived and reported heavy black smoke from the basement and assigned Engine 21 to pull a pre-connect to the front door.
The fire, held to the dryer, was under control within minutes of the initial call.
Crews remained on scene performing ventilation and overhaul.
